Surf’s up
The ocean has always been a place of fascination, turbulent beauty, and the best place to escape to. I’ve spent entire summers going to the beach, learning to body surf, sculpting sand, and collecting sea shells. In this painting, my goal was to capture the depth of the colors in a single wave: cerulean, turquoise, ultramarine, jade and seafoam.
